Stu's CV

Stuart LittlewoodStuart is a marketer and writer with front-line sales experience.

He served in the RAF working on jet fighters such as the delta-wing Javelin. His business career began with 10 years in the petroleum industry. Fascinated by emerging possibilities for 'retail automation', he was among the pioneers in self-service petrol stations and went on to market electronic card payment systems. He spearheaded special projects for a leading vending machine manufacturer and was European marketing manager with an Australian firm manufacturing quartz crystals and oscillators for professional and military radio.

He paused in mid-career for a psychology degree and since then has carried out numerous business development projects and market 'probes', as a freelance, to evaluate new technologies and guide business decisions. He also lectured in Marketing and Advertising.

Stuart served as a county councillor and Police Authority member in Cambridgeshire, and for 3 years was a regular columnist with an award-winning newspaper. He writes and shoots pictures for magazines and business publications.

He was awarded an Associateship by the Royal Photographic Society in 2000 and produced a millennium photo-documentary book of his local community. A second book, Radio Free Palestine, about the situation in the West Bank, was published in 2007.
